Do cut-resistant gloves offer good puncture resistance?
NO! Cut resistant gloves made of Spectra® are a knitted product. The gloves are manufactured to provide protection from cuts and lacerations from sharp items like knives and slicing blades. These gloves will provide very little, if any, puncture-resistance from a pointed item like a knife tip, needle or other sharp pointed objects. If needle puncture protection is needed contact us for the proper glove for your application.
