Do current members have to re-apply for care through the WTC Health Program?
If you have already been identified as a Responder or a Community Member, or if you were identified as a Survivor on or before December 31, 2010 you do not have to re-apply for care through the WTC Health Program. Your enrollment into the new program is being handled by NIOSH and you do not need to do anything unless notified otherwise. In the WTC HP you will continue to receive the same medical benefits at no cost. If you are a Survivor and you enrolled in the program January 1, 2011 or after, you will receive information from NIOSH on the process you will need to follow to reapply, as required by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010.
