When you add up all the costs and amenities, they have more value than a comparable air and hotel package. Just like there are different classes of resorts and hotels, the same applies to cruise ships and their staterooms. The old adage, “You get what you pay for”, applies here also but maybe in a better deal with the convenience, activities, shows, food choices, safety, and services found on most cruise lines. And you visit several ports and only unpack once!
