Do credits from previous graduate work apply to the requirements for the doctoral degree?

0

The Programs policy on credit for previous graduate work is guided by two considerations: (1) that students not be required to engage in needless repetitious coursework when they have satisfactorily acquired the knowledge and skills embodied in a particular requirement, and (2) notwithstanding the first consideration, that graduates of any doctoral program in psychology are regarded and evaluated by the professional community on the basis of completion of their doctoral program. Therefore, it is the doctoral programs responsibility to ensure adequate development of the knowledge and skills which are required of all professional school psychologists. Please refer to the Doctoral Program Brochure for more information. The program cannot evaluate previous coursework of individual applicants before they are admitted to the program.
