No, but many courses have suggested prerequisites, as noted in our Grants and Assistance Training online catalog For more details, please see our suggested sequence of courses . (Note: this suggested sequence includes courses which are not part of the Certificate Program.) The suggested prerequisites and sequence of courses are intended to assist students in designing a comprehensive program of study, where classes build on knowledge gained in previous classes. Can I get credit for a course if I buy the book and pass the exam? No. To receive Certificate Program credit for any course, you must both fully attend the course and, in certain courses, also pass a final exam. Course materials are available only to attendees. Whom should I talk to if I need help choosing electives? Upon enrolling in the Program, you will be assigned an advisor.
