Do cotton hammocks stretch or shrink?

0

As cotton is a natural material it shrinks when stored for long periods of time. Because many hammocks are boxed for a period prior to being shipped, the cotton either has contracted or is at an “un-stretched state”. After your hammock has been used several times, it should stretch to its full length, usually an additional 1-2 feet.
