Do contract variations have to be reported on AusTender?

0

Yes. Agencies are required to report variations to any contract reported on AusTender which meets the contract reporting criteria (ie variations of $10,000 and above for FMA agencies). Where a number of smaller value variations occur, agencies may aggregate and report the combined cumulative total. In such cases, agencies should report within 6 weeks of the last variation. Variations include options, extensions or renewals. Other changes in contract details are to be amended at the agency’s discretion if they believe that the information will be of sufficient interest to stakeholders to warrant amendment. For example, an agency may wish to update supplier information to reflect a change of name or merger (refer to FMG 15, 5.24).
