Colmar Brunton researched Australian consumers’ attitudes towards market research techniques and found that 34% of consumers “always enjoy participating” in MROCs, better than phone surveys (12% of consumers) but not as good as focus groups (51%). Where MROCs beat out traditional methods was convenience: 39% said it was “always convenient to participate”, second only to online surveys (44%).
