Do conservatives know the difference between PERSONAL INCOME, and the PROFIT of an incorporated small business?
Yes, I do. I am also a small business owner. Obama has NEVER ONCE differentiated between Profit and Personal Income. Further, Obama has NEVER ONCE detailed how or what types of profits will be taxed. By the way, there is a direct coorelation between the Bush Tax Cuts and the UNPRECEDENTED growth and economic success that we experienced through his administration until last year when the housing market (an entirely separate situation) began to crumble. Compare the Bush Administration to that of Jimmy Carter who did EXACTLY what Obama is proposing. The Carter Administration directly led to the highest inflation in the history of the US, double-digit unemployment and interest rates, the lowest GDP seen since the Great Depression, and the only time since the depression that annual household income actually fell.
