Do conservative Christian people think the welfare of children or fairness for adults is a higher priority?
Dude, I want to see universal health care, especially for those who are powerless to choose, such as the children. I don’t trust our government in administering it though, and I’m not sure how to get it done effectively. I think the various Catholic Health Systems have probably gotten as close to functionally addressing this issue as any institution. Their stand on abortion causes the left all kinds of heart burn, so public funding is tough to get. This makes me view the left as somewhat disingenuous. I think many conservative minded folks, such as myself, don’t trust big, secular approaches to any fix, which causes a knee jerk reaction to a secular fix for health care.
