Do concealed carry permits reduce crime?
A paper by U. of U. student Michael Hock examines the impact concealed carry laws have on crime in the United States. The paper concludes that based on research conducted up to this point, the issuance of concealed carry permits results in a reduction of crime. Lastly, the paper presents several studies which have been done on the impact of concealed carry permits on crime, and then concludes that based on the research that has been done up to this point, the issuance of concealed carry permits results in a reduction of crime.
