Yes, the majority of clubs charge dues to join. Most clubs do receive limited funding from Campus Recreation, but this funding does not cover all of the expenses incurred. Dues payments help defray the cost of travel, equipment and other expenses. Dues range from $5 per semester to $800 per academic year.
