Do clothing makers clean/sanitize fur on clothing.?
Absolutely! The fur processing facilities would take great care to remove any animal residue (fat, blood) that would decompose and cause odors. They treat the remaining skin and fur to condition them, and kill the larvae of any insects (maggots, lice) – before they are shipped to the garment manufacturing facility. No clothing store in the civilized world would stock garments that smelled, had insects, or were otherwise icky.
