Do Christians accept that evolution exists and did happen?

There are plenty of Christians, and members of other religions as well, who believe in evolution. Believe in evolution and the belief in a divinity or God are not mutually exclusive, though there are those on both sides who will make that claim. There are many more who embrace both faith and science without contradiction. Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater, dude.

Actually, a lot of Christians do believe in evolution. Intelligent Design can easily encompass evolution – it’s called God-guided evolution. And we are different from animals. Even scientists agree on that, because no other animals can cook and no other animals have invented things in the same ways that we have. I can’t remember all the other reasons we are different but they’re there.

>>Do Christians accept that evolution exists and did happen?<< Of course. Ken Miller, who may well be evolution's biggest defender, is a Christian.

Evolution as a theory is getting more ridiculous to believe in every day as more facts come to light. Only someone with extreme faith could believe that inorganic chemicals “just happened” to all be present at one time and all the machinery to duplicate was present as well…how silly.
