Children under the age of 15 do not need a fishing license. However, if they are fishing for halibut in areas 5-13, steelhead, salmon, sturgeon or Dungeness crab they are required to possess and complete a catch record card (CRC). CRC’s are available at no charge through internet license sales or your local WDFW license dealer.
