Our experience tells us that receiving communion is meaningful for even the youngest child. Their joy in receiving is evident. They are attuned to the story of the Last Supper and know that the reenactment somehow connects us to Jesus in ways they can feel, and hence, are real. We learn added significance and meaning as we continue to serve each other and talk about Jesus Christ and how he lives in us, blesses us, and teaches us to be merciful, fair, and loving. The decision is yours. Whether your child receives communion or does not, he or she will feel receive a blessing and be included in our circle of sharing. Contact Pastor Connie with questions.
