Do Children Live in The Lovelady Center?
The Lovelady Center opened in October 2004 with 5 women and currently has over 350 women and 110 children in residence. The number of children swells to 200 permanent and temporary residents during the summer months while school is out. The children living in the Center are under their mothers parental custody or legal visitation rights have been established. The program is dedicated to reuniting families whenever possible. There have been over 180 children reunited with thier mothers from foster care as a result of our program.
