Do children have the opportunity to learn to play musical instruments?

Yes. Currently over 150 children receive weekly peripatetic instruction on a range of brass, woodwind and stringed instruments. In their first year of Junior School children are taught to play the recorder during their weekly music lessons. From Year 4 onwards children are given the chance to receive peripatetic instruction.
