It doesn’t matter what kind of engineer you are. Where you spend your time is very dependent on your current assignment. I have worked in high rise offices, low rise offices, trailers, the front seat of my car, tents, swamps, sand dunes, mountains, snow banks, plants and factories. If you are doing interesting work or something important it really doesn’t matter where you are.
