Do cheetahs eat there food in trees?

No. Cheetahs aren’t great climbers. The retractable claws of other cats provide an excellent set of crampon-like aids for climbing. Cheetahs also expend an incredible amount of energy during their chase so when they bring down their prey they are too exhausted to do anything much – even eating is a bit of a struggle. Cheetahs will eat as much food as possible as quickly as possible because there are plenty of potential thieves about. Hyaenas and lions will drive a cheetah from a kill and when you invest as much energy as a cheetah does into each chase, that can be a real problem especially if you have cubs to feed.
