Do certain majors require additional coursework and/or higher GPAs to be eligible for transfer with a UC Davis TAG?

Certain selective majors require that you complete additional coursework and/or earn higher GPAs to be eligible for TAG transfer, so carefully plan your academic program to ensure that you’re well prepared for your intended major. Required coursework must be completed by the end of spring term prior to fall enrollment. Before submitting the UC TAG Application, you must have already achieved the minimum required GPA in completed course(s) from select groups. Non-selective majors at UC Davis may not require additional coursework be completed to qualify for TAG, however transfer students are strongly advised to complete as many preparatory courses as possible for their major before enrolling at UC Davis. Preparing well for the major helps students move efficiently toward graduation and significantly reduces time to degree.
