Do Centres provide childcare?

The West Sussex Children’s Information Service has details of childminders who have indicated that they are willing to look after the children of students while they attend Adult & Community Learning Service classes. Please telephone 01243 777807 for details of childminders in your area. You will then need to contact the childminders and make arrangements for your child’s care and payment to the childminder. Students on some courses, such as computing, Skills for Life or examination courses who are on a means tested benefit or low income may be able to obtain financial help towards the costs of childcare. Please contact your Adult & Community Learning Centre for more information about the Learner Support Fund.
