Do CEC courses count toward the training required for the next level of certification?

0

CECs are required only for Level III and IV Certified Technicians. The training/electrical studies approved for CECs count toward a Level II technician’s education requirements to qualify for Level III and toward a Level III technician’s requirements to qualify for Level IV. Please note, when a technician reaches the next level of certification, he/she cannot count prior courses toward their CEC requirement. For example, if a Level II technician passes the exam and becomes a Level III technician he/she can only submit courses taken from that point forward for CEC credit.
