Do cats really love their owners?

0

Cats, of course, show affection—other than just when a meal is about to be served. Unless a cat has had a traumatic history with humans, she will seek out her owner for affection in the form of play, stroking or perhaps a chat. But because cats do what pleases them, and show affection to their owners on their own terms, some say that cats are unattached, unaffectionate and unloving—as evidence, they won’t even come when called. So i think some cats love their owners and some don’t. But that’s why i love dogs because they prove that they love their owners and they are loyal as can be to there owners. So i will still with Dogs.

Of course a cat can love their owners. Cats are no different than dogs in their capacity to love the owner. Some cats don’t love their owners just because they don’t, but their are dogs out there that don’t love their owners either. My cat loves me, everytime I pick her up she begins to pur and is very content just being held.

my cats really love my daughter, they’re constantly crying for her when she’s not home – and when she’s home she can’t get away from them lol they follow her every move they don’t like me much, i think cause im the one who’s constantly clapping my hands loud and telling them to get off my kitchen counter and stop clawing at my curtains lol

Yep! I think cats show love in many different ways (purring, cuddling, even bringing “presents” they hunted for you!). Cats are more independent than dogs are I think, so they might not be all jumping and slobbering on you when you get home but they will greet you. I have a one-eyed kitten that they were going to put to sleep but I said NOOO! I will keep her. lol. She’s awesome.
