Do cats lose their baby teeth like humans do?

Yes, cats do indeed have baby teeth—26 of them, in fact, to be exact—and they start to lose them when their permanent teeth begin to grow in at about three months of age. And in case you were wondering, when a kitten puts a lost baby tooth under the pillow at night, the Tooth Fairy doesn’t come. (But the Tooth Furry does, of course!)
