Silly, the ancient Egyptians did not domesticate cats so they could worship cats as gods. The cats domesticated themselves so they could be recognized as the Superior Beings they are, and treated appropriately. That’s why cats tend to be more skillful at training us than we are at training them. Now, please excuse me, my masters require breakfast now.
