My cats love my rabbit, but lots of cats see rabbits as prey. I wouldn’t trust them together until I was very sure about the way your cat feels about the rabbit. I know you didn’t ask this and I’m sorry if you already knew it, but rabbits chew on everything including furniture and electrical cords. Make sure your house is absolutely rabbit proof before you let one roam free.
