Do Catholics need some spiritual guidance?
No, we need a different Pope. This one seems to be like George W, gets it wrong all the time but at least he then retracts and apologises but that’s not leadership is it? It’s time they looked for a younger person instead of the hidebound 70+ year olds who are the natural incumbents, being nearer to death than birth and need to really take a long hard look at poverty on this planet which is generally caused by too many children being born to poor people who have little or no means of supporting them. Their advice on contraception is from the middle ages and should be cast aside. It would be better for those poor women in Africa to have contraceptive chip implants rather than just having to go on producing babies every nine months, some as the result of rape. I am a Catholic.
