Do Carnival cruises allow 18-21 year olds to drink alcohol?
You have to be 21. But, here’s what you do: Get a couple bottles of Arizona Iced Tea (they’re brown plastic bottles, so you can’t tell what color liquid is in them and they can’t be detected with a metal detector). Get a 1.75 mL bottle of your favorite booze. Drink or throw out the iced tea. Fill the iced tea bottle to the top (to prevent sloshing) and recap the bottle. Place the bottle into a cardboard box with foam or bubble wrap packing. Seal the box with packing tape. If you want to go a step further, wrap it up like a birthday present. Bury the box in the middle of your check on luggage. Get a soda card for making mixed drinks. And, keep bugging the steward for ice until they just show you where the machine is. I have done this on every cruise I have ever taken and never got caught. And by the way, never bring or smoke pot on a cruise ship. You’re subject to all kinds of laws that are a lot harsher than local laws. And, they do enforce them.
