Capricorns hold grudges until they get a valid apology. If someone says, “Look, I’m really sorry for what I did”, and they try not to make the same mistake again, I’m over it. A Taurus or Scorpio (both Fixed Signs) will “accept” your apology, but keep bringing up the the incident repeatedly.

Yes, they can hold them for a very long time. For me, I don’t let them go. They say living well is the best revenge. Grudges are like fuel. I feel no shame in knowing I would watch a few select people burn to death, and do nothing to stop it. Indeed, I would smile as I watched them die. True.
