Do candidates who do not write exams in their native language get extra time to write the exam?

It is not always possible to allow extra time, and experience shows that in most cases the time available is sufficient, even to compensate for the fact that the examination is not in the native language of the candidate. In special cases an AEC may allow candidates an extra 15 minutes for each hour of normal duration of the examination. This exception should always be requested at EXIN two weeks in advance, and it must be mentioned in the Supervisor’s Report (to be supplied for each session by the supervisor).
