Do calve raises make calves bigger or smaller ?
It all depends on the size of your calves and how much weight you use when doing this type of exercise. If you have large calves it will slim your calves and if you have small calves it will tone them. Now if you want to add bulk you add weight. Example say you do calves raises with ten lbs weights in each hand and you this ten times with 2 reps you will add bulk. Now if you do calves raises with no weight and 20 times with 2 reps you’ll tone this area. Less weight with more times tones and more weight with less times will add bulk.
