Do California community colleges require SAT or ACT tests for admission?

Core requirements for admission to California Community Colleges:

  • You are 18 years of age or older, with or without a high school diploma
  • You are a high school graduate
  • You have the equivalent of a high school diploma

Community colleges are just that, for the community. Their are few restrictions, and many go to community colleges to bring up their scores from high school. If you do well in a community college and not so well on the SAT and/or ACT, your grades will shine bright and block out those not so illustrious SAT or ACT scores. Good luck.
