Do buying organisations want all suppliers to complete the CAESER questionnaire?
Yes, buying organisations are expecting all their suppliers to participate in the CAESER initiative to gain an understanding of their CSR policies and commitments. Buying organisations are keen for suppliers to demonstrate how they are addressing and supporting their own sustainable development targets and as such buying organisations believe CAESER is a useful tool for companies of any size in any sector. Although completion of the CAESER assessments is not mandatory, it is desirable and therefore buying organisations encourage all their suppliers to participate. If you choose not to complete, you may still be asked by other buying organisations to complete the CAESER assessments in the future as many organisations are adopting the CAESER standard.
