Do busy leaders actually take the time to read and come to meetings that are outside of their regular work?
Yes–if they are led by “one of their own,” if the questions are important to them, and if the readings are short, relevant and appealing. This is not to say that every leader will respond eagerly to your invitation. As with all things, some people just will not be interested. However, in our experience, even people who are at first skeptical or hesitant will come to value both the readings and conversation.
