Do BusinessWorx calls go over the Internet?
No. Calls leaving BusinessWorx phones travel to our Converged Network Center (CNC), where they are interconnected to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). In some cases, customers may have a requirement for home or remote office installations over existing DSL or cable infrastructure. BusinessWorx service can be extended to reach these end points but they generally require interconnection across the public Internet. These connections are not representative of our primary market strategy or implementation but can be provided as a matter of customer convenience.
