Not necessarily. We do not require both co-parents to attend at the same time. Our experience has shown that co-parents may be more comfortable, participate more, and get more out of the class by attending the same class but at different times. In addition, attending the same class, but at different times, will provide both parents the same curriculum and may allow more scheduling flexibility for the children. Of course, if both parents are focused on the best interest of their children, and can be reasonable with each other during class, then attending at the same time is very beneficial. If you are court ordered to attend, it is your responsibility to make sure you are following the court order. Some courts (judges) want both parents at the same class at the same time.
