Do Bonded Medical Places (BMP) and Medical Rural Bonded Scholarship (MRBS) students have to go to the Rural Clinical School?
A. BMP and MRBS students are automatically allocated to the Rural Clinical School (or to the Rural Clinical School reserve list). However, these students may be considered for the metropolitan clinical schools should the Rural Clinical School be oversubscribed following the allocation of ERC student and first preferences. BMP and MRBS students are therefore required to submit their preferences, even if the Rural Clinical School is their first preference.
