Do blood tests hurt?

It depends on which kind you are referring to. For blood tests (for drawing a vile of blood) it really depends. This is what they do- First they tie an elastic band around your upper arm. Then they will check your veins. Usually they will look for the best one that will cause less pain. (On me they usually use the veins in the bend of my elbow, it hardly hurts) Then they will clean the area with alchohol. Next, they will ask you to pump your fist or squeeze something to stimulate blood flow and make the veins expand a little bit, and once they are sure of what they are doing they will insert a needle that’s connected to a test tube. When the needle is in the vein, the blood will come out and fill the tube. They’ll untie the band, pull the needle out, give you a bandaid, and send the tube off to a lab for testing. The test never hurts for me, just a pinch when they first put the needle in your vein. Once a lady had to use my wrist because my blood wasnt good that day. It really helps to
