Most likely they do. Because many blacks had slave names if a Black man married an Irish or Scottish woman the man and the child would take on the Irish or Scottish name. If the child was illegitimate the child will still take on the mothers name. The same is true if Irish or Scottish man married or had a child with a black woman. History: Some did own slaves (very few), however just as Africans were slaves, Native Americans, Asians and Scotts were Enslaved too.
