I tried it once when buying a digital camera. The salesperson said they don’t pricematch with amazon. ebay would be even more unlikely. So I got a brand new camera with free shipping from amazon at a great price. I don’t know about free shipping for something as heavy as a TV. However, I suggest mentioning the amazon price to the clerk. WIth the economy all screwed up, stores might want to cut deals. Besides, the worst that can happen is that the seller says no.
