Do behavioral health services require authorization from Mental Health Network (MHNet)?
Yes. All behavioral services statewide must be coordinated through MHNet. Do CT scans, MRAs, MRIs, PET scans and nuclear medicine–cardiovascular system procedures require authorization from National Imaging Associates, Inc. (NIA)? Yes. The ordering physician needs to contact NIA for an authorization on these services when performed in the office, at an independent diagnostic testing facility, or outpatient hospital setting.
