Bearded Dragon Lizards are one of the nicest pet lizards you could own. I have one, and it’s smart and active.The pet store where we bought it, told us it was a hatchling when they got it. And they raised it until it was about 8 months old. It is very fat and healthy. Even though it’s very young still, my 8 year old son is still able to take it out and hold it. Once it realizes it’s safe, it will sit very still in your hand. He loves lizards, and has been reading studying all about them. It is a big responsibility owning a lizard. I recommend that you read all you can about them to make sure you have the right reptile supplies and know how to use them. For starters don’t use heat rocks with lizards. It can hurt their internal organs. Be careful about how much you feed them vitamin supplements. An overdose of Vitamin A can be harmful.
