DO BANDS AND ARTISTS THAT PLAY AT PARACHUTE HAVE TO BE CHRISTIANS?
The mission of the Festival is to cultivate and showcase music that connects people with Jesus. To do that, artists who write and perform the music obviously need to be connected themselves as committed Christians. In the case of bands, generally the core of the group need to be committed Christians, but not necessarily all the band members. In this sense, we see the Festival as a great opportunity to minister to non-Christian musicians also.
