Do autistic children tend to be good at Design and Technology?
From my experience, autistic children tend to have a particular area that they are very good at. This varies between children, so yes you may get an autistic child who is particularly good at design/technology but equally they could find this extremely difficult and be a brilliant musician or be very good at maths – just like any child in fact, this is not specific to children with autism!
