Yes, a majority of the student-athletes move on and continue their education. Being that our sports teams are so strong it allows our athletes to gain a lot of exposure all over the country. Q: Do the athletes have academic support accessible to them if they need it? A: Yes, we have an academic advisor who works solely with our student-athletes. She registers the student-athletes for classes before the semester begins. She also tracks them several times throughout the semester to make sure their grades are sufficient. MCC also has a building which houses all the learning centers. Anytime throughout a school day a student can walk in and receive assistance in such areas as; psychology, math, English, accounting, nursing, computers and transitional studies. Q: Will transportation and meal money be provided to student athletes for away competition? A: Yes, each coach is given meal money for his or her athletes.
