Do atheists (focussing on American atheists) deny the Native american spirit world?

Even though I’m not an American Atheist, I respect all beliefs and cultures of native people – as they usually do not try and convert people and are generally disadvantaged minority groups anyway (invasion of culture, etc). I also think that the native Americans, for all I have seen, have very respectful traditions and practices towards nature, animals and the environment – and that is the kind of spirituality that someone shouldn’t be ashamed of possessing. I don’t believe in their spirit world however.
