Do asteroids disintegrate in the mesosphere or the stratosphere?

I believe you probably mean Meteors, not asteroids, but they can actually disintegrate in any ‘sphere’ depending on the size of them. Some don’t disintegrate at all, and end up going all the way to reach the surface of the Earth and then they are called Meteorites.
