Do assisted living communities conduct criminal records checks on their employees?

0

Yes. Effective July 14, 2000, assisted living communities are required to conduct criminal records checks on employee applicants. Prior to that, some assisted living communities voluntarily conducted records checks on all employees. Many also ensure voluntarily that no employees are listed on Kentucky’s nurse aid abuse registry.
