No, application logic does not need to be re-written to be embedded within nCluster. Aster Data customers and partners have embedded their existing applications (written in Java, C, C++, Perl, etc.) without any change in their application logic. Aster Data’s tools and wizards, including Aster Data Developer Express, make it easy to take application logic, package it for nCluster, and push down the application into the nCluster database.
